About the role

This Full Time SEND Teaching Assistant role is based at a small, single-form entry Primary School in the North Tyneside area. This is a full-time role, of which the successful candidate will be expected to work, Monday-Friday and the hours will be 08.30 – 15.30. This role is based in Key Stage 1 (KS1) and the candidate will be working on a one-to-one basis with a pupil in Year 2. The candidate will be expected to work one to one in and out of the classroom as well as delivering small group interventions.

Requirements

To be considered for the role of Full Time SEND Teaching Assistant you will:

  • - An ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • - Teaching Assistant or equivalent (Level 3 plus ideally)
  • - Knowledge of working within Key Stage 1 (KS1)
  • - Knowledge of SEND and delivering one to one support
  • - Previous experience of working with children with ASC

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
