About The Role

PD&MS Group have a great opportunity for a Resourcing Advisor to join our progressive recruitment team on a full time, employee basis. Our Resourcing Advisors are responsible for sourcing, engagement, screening, assessment and hiring of suitably qualified and experienced candidates within given functions and specialisms and within timescales.

Our role is based in our Aberdeen office. We offer flexible working on a hybrid basis where 2 days per week can be worked remotely.
Duties -
  • Source and identify suitable candidates using approved methods and maintaining up to date candidate pipelines
  • Manage vacancies and candidates through company ATS ensuring all data is up to date and accurate (when available)
  • Attend relevant resourcing meetings and contribute, as required
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers on recruitment law and best practise
  • Daily interaction with Hiring Managers to ensure effective delivery of resources
  • Assist in research and reporting on market rates for multi-disciplines
  • Arrange and attend interviews with department representatives, assessing and recording candidate performance
  • Preparation of approval paperwork and offer letters to candidates following recruitment process
  • Provide relevant and timely feedback to candidates
  • Interface directly with prospective candidates to discuss particulars of each job
  • Liaise with department heads and senior management on a regular basis regarding required resources
  • Support the Recruitment Manager in related tasks as required
  • Updating of social media for recruitment purposes
  • Responsible for ensuring own professional development is maintained and identified competency requirements are undertaken in a timely manner
  • Adherence to the company integrated management system
  • Compliance with quality assurance, health and safety and environmental policies
  • Demonstrate and promote PD&MS QHSE principles and lead by example
  • Ensure unsafe activities are challenged
  • Adherence to the requirements of the best practice standards recommendations and processes in the undertaking of duties
  • Demonstrate and promote PD&MS values and lead by example
  • Ensure any direct report performance reviews are carried out within the required timescales (where applicable)

About You

This position would be well suited to an individual with demonstrable in-house or agency recruitment experience with specific experience in sourcing candidates for technical roles in energy, offshore or onshore EPC sectors. Previous experience of sourcing candidates using various online channels including job boards, social media etc. is preferred. Candidates must be proficient in the use of MS applications and database management. Excellent written and spoken English is essential for this role.
