Role Overview: As Bar Staff at AURA Nightclub, you will be at the heart of the action, ensuring our guests have an unforgettable time. Your friendly demeanor, efficiency, and passion for service will elevate our guests' experience as you serve up a wide range of beverages and cocktails. Your exceptional customer service skills will leave a lasting impression, making AURA the go-to spot for nightlife enthusiasts in Aberdeen.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome and engage with customers in a warm, friendly, and professional manner.
- Prepare and serve a diverse selection of drinks, including signature cocktails and classic beverages, adhering to our high-quality standards.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring that all guests' needs are met promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, restocking supplies as needed.
- Comply with all relevant safety and hygiene regulations to ensure a safe environment for guests and fellow team members.
- Upsell and promote special offers, events, and promotions to enhance the customer experience.
- Collaborate with the bar and management team to create new cocktails and beverage offerings that reflect AURA's innovative spirit.
- Assist in handling cash transactions and processing payments accurately.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and be willing to support other areas of the nightclub when needed.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Previous experience in bartending or a similar role is preferred but not essential; a passion for the nightlife industry is what counts!
- Strong interpersonal skills with a natural ability to connect with people from all walks of life.
- A flair for mixology and a desire to stay updated on the latest drink trends is a bonus.
- Excellent multitasking abilities, staying calm under pressure during busy hours.
- A responsible and trustworthy approach to handling cash and alcohol.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Job Type: Part-time
Salary: £10.42-£12.50 per hour
