Bauer Media Audio are on a mission to make our listeners’ world sound better. This is a new role within Bauer Audio’s Central Digital Team, which includes Insight, Product, and Innovation. You will report to our Head of Audience Insight & Intelligence. This role will also work closely with wider teams such as Commercial, Editorial and Branding. You will aid understanding of performance and consumer’s digital audio behaviours across BMA’s 9 markets. Our digital products represent some of Europe’s biggest radio brands, including KISS FM and Absolute Radio in the UK, Mix Megapol, Radio Nova, The Voice, and RadioPlay in the Nordics. You will be responsible for promoting and delivering insight driven responses to strategic opportunities across the Digital Audio business.

As an SRE you will be pivotal in helping to shape digital audio services and podcasting platforms across all territories on all devices. Using a range of methodologies and datasets, you will produce audience insight that will ensure the continuous improvement our digital services.

You will also get the opportunity to work closely with the innovation team carrying out research to understand more around potential opportunities for Bauer Audio. This includes spaces like chat bots, ai and the metaverse. As well as understanding new audiences and markets that Bauer Audio can break into.


Our Team

Bauer Media Audio operates a ‘hub and spoke’ model for digital. The central digital team supports our country business units with strategy, insight, innovation, product management, technology, IP distribution and support. Our country teams are responsible for local planning, content and commercial delivery. As part of a combined community of digital experts, the teams work in partnership to create outstanding services to our users and deliver commercial success. As a team we thrive on combining local market excellence with a wider, global perspective.


What you’ll do

  • Undertake quantitative and qualitative research projects and to be solely or jointly responsible for these projects. This includes scoping requirements, project management, analysis, and communication of insights.
  • Run research such as surveys and workshops to understand best next steps for content and product in all BMA territories.
  • Take on desk research to understand potential propositions for Future tech withing Bauer Audio.
  • Use data and insight creatively to highlight issues and potential solutions to inform decision making and stimulate creative thinking.
  • Support senior colleagues on all aspects of research and insight including ad hoc tasks and research projects.
  • Working with analysts to marry internal data sets, tell a story and bring the data to life.
  • Producing monthly performance reports and communicate to a range of stakeholders.
  • Analyse and interpret data from a variety of sources to unlock key insights and bring the story to life.
